George was very proud of what he did for a living. He began work at the age of 14 years old in produce and later went to work for Holsum Bakery which spanned for the next 40 years until his retirement. Dad was very proud of his accomplishments in life. He loved his cars and most of all his grandchildren.
George is predeceased by Linda Alvarez, his sisters, Noreen Ozuna and Annie Valenzuela; brother, Ramon Alvarez.
Left to cherish his memory are daughter, NormaJean Tejada; son, George Alvarez Jr. (Kathleen); grandchildren - Stephanie (Mico), Travis, Alexis, Angela, Stacie, and Amy; great grandchildren - Dominick, Daisy, Denae, Jaeden, Audree, Jeremya, Reina, Fransisco, Teresa, Jasmine, Jalissa, D'Andre, Damoni; his sisters, Norma Moreno (Abiano) & Lucy Goodman (Walter) and brother, Louie Martinez (Peggy); many nieces & nephews and other loving family.
