Helen Kanter

Helen Kanter passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on July 27, 2010. Helen was born to Mary and Nick Sedunov in Edna, PA on February 4, 1920. She had made the Phoenix area her home for the last 47 years. Helen was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her adored children Elaine Shirley, John (Jeanne) Kanter and Frederick (Jill) Kanter; her cherished grandchildren Deborah (Dickie) Westfall, Chuck Conard, Jr., John Alan (Joanne) Kanter, Joe Kanter, Kim (Tyson) Syverson and Fred Kanter; cherished great grandchildren Michael Conard, Kyle Westfall, Kayla Elaine Westfall and Reese John Kanter and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband John Kanter, Sr. The heavenly gates now have a special sparkle and the streets will be cleaner than ever with Helen there and her dear husband at her side. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:00 am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Private entombment will be at Phoenix Memorial Park.
