Helen Woodard

Baxter and Isabel (Rangel) Stewart gave birth to a beautiful amazing baby girl and name her Helen. Helen was born February 1st, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona. Helen was a caring wife, mother, grandmother of three generation, sister and a friend. She departed this earthly life on February 23, 2022 at age 80.

She accepted Christ in her life under the leadership of Rev. Dr. G. Benjamin Brooks, Sr. Over the pass years, she has been a member of Champion for Christ Missionary under the leadership of Charlie Edmond and her favorite first lady, First Lady Renee whom she loved and loved her dearly.

She loved spending time with family and everyone she encountered. She was a hard worker, dedicated skilled bowler, who was also known for her Saturday night bowling league with her grandchildren. In addition to her dedication to bowling, she dedicated a lot of time with working side by side with her husband and family janitorial business called B&H.

Helen life was full of enjoyment. She was known for family outing to Rodeo Driven and Silver Dollar Driven with her children, nieces, nephews, and her favorite Lisa, Bobby, and Patrick. She enjoyed playing Skip Bo , and eating out with family especially having bonding time with her baby siblings Mary and Billy.

She had a passionate love affair with chocolate especially her Hershey kisses, plain M&M's and Reese’s, her dog’s Uncle Ben and Uncle Skippy, and lottery scratchers.

Helen is survived by her two children Barbara Thomas (Jimmy Scroggins) and James Thomas JR (Nicole Money,) her two bonus children Glen Woodard (Cheryl) and Joyce Woodard, her two paw-children Benji and Skippy Woodard ,host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Mary Fuller and brother Billy Stewart.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Isabel and Baxter Stewart, her brothers Richard, Roy Baxter Jr. , and Leroy. Her sisters Jerry, Vivan, and her loving baby girl Donna Louise Thomas.

Helen will be truly miss!
