

James was born in Marion, IL on Monday, January 15, 1940 to James M and Margaret P(Childers) Wiseman.
He was united in marriage to Margaret R Smith on Friday, December 7, 1956, in Corinth,
Mississippi, and together they shared over 56 years of marriage.
James was called into the ministry early in life and had a gift for starting churches that flourished. He was committed to being a part of reaching a lost world for Christ. His passion: missions and outreach. He was an ordained minister with the Church of God(Anderson, IN) and the Assemblies of God(Springfield,MO) for over 45 years. He enjoyed being the executive director of the Marion Ministerial Alliance Ministry Center. He also served as a policeman in the local communities of Johnston City, Cambria, Pittsburg and Creal Springs. He made an impact in people’s lives and touched the hearts of many. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie (Randy) Huntley of Phoenix, AZ; Lisa Wiseman and Turk Al-Harthi of Saudi Arabia; son and daughter-in-law, Miles (Carmel) Stoneman of Horse Cave, KY; sisters Kay (Clyde) Roberts of Grovetown GA and Priscilla Huff of Buckeye, AZ; five granddaughters, four grandsons, and thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Brenda Rowland; and two brothers, Mike and Richard Thomas Wiseman.
Services will be held privately in Arizona.
