On February 19th, 2021 at the tender age of 87, Jenny {Juana} H. Trostle, with her family by her side, joined her husband, Jack and her mother, father and brothers in Heaven. She is survived by her younger brother, Carlos, her children, Rita Trostle, Sharon (Rick) Lilly, her grandchildren, Nicole (Brett) Guysi, Sean Trostle, Jack Trostle, her great grandchildren, Brooke and Blake.
She was born May 5th, 1933 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Hipolito and Irene {Ramirez} Ortiz. She was raised in Yauco and did her Nursing School in Ponce, Puerto Rico where she graduated as an R.N. then went into the Air Force as a surgical nurse in Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas. She married the love of her life, Jack Trostle on May 13th, 1958 in Del Rio, Texas and they had two girls, Rita and Sharon. After Jack’s retirement they settled down in Arizona where they raised their family. Jack and Jenny did everything together and after his passing, Jenny stayed active and involved in several groups where she could do what she loved second to her husband which was singing and dancing. She loved performing with the group at the Senior Center and also Palm Lakes Village where she resided, participating in shows and other social activities. Her beautiful voice was adored by all, not to mention her passion for living, beaming smile, and tenacious spirit. She loved to be outdoors and walk, have good food and conversation. She lived her life to the fullest!
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, March 4th at Phoenix Memorial Park located at 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85027, the gravesite is at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, the organization that cared for Jenny and her family.
