Jessie was born in Taylorville, IL on August 23 1934 to Jessie E Sharp Sr and Myrtle Irene (Lowrey) Sharp

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie E Sharp Jr and Myrtle Sharp, 3 Brothers, George, Calvin, Edward, 1 sister Iona ( Sharp ) Moses.

Jessie is survived by his wife Joanana Sharp, 1 son Anthony (Laura) Sharp, 2 daughters Kathleen (Greg) Odle, April (Juan) Mata – 11 grandchildren – 9 great-grandchildren

Jessie moved to Arizona in 1948 with his parents and continued to live there until 1989.

Jessie worked at Coulter Cadillac in Phoenix, AZ as an upholsterer. He also had a business “Sharp Upholstery” for 13 + years in Deer Valley. During his time in MN, He gained employment at Team Industries in Detroit Lakes, MN as a machine operator and a shipping clerk and continued Sharp Upholstery in MN until 2013. He was a master craftsman in upholstery of all kinds.

A visitation will be held at 12:00-2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 8th at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd in Phoenix. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Cave Creek Cemetery, 36541 N. Pima Rd in Carefree.
