

Joan is survived by her sons, Jim and his wife Diane, Denis, and Richard and his wife Stacy; her grandchildren, Kristen, Kevin, Andrew, Brent, Destiny, Ryan, Ross, and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Zac, Sophia, and Kayla; her sister Audrey and many other family members and friends that loved her dearly. Joan is preceded in death by her brother Allen and son Kenny.
Joan was born on February 12, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After school, she became an office manager for several companies; her last employment was with the State of Arizona.
Joan's hobbies in her later years included playing bridge, volunteering with Premier Hospice, reading to children in schools and spending time with her family.
Joan was a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.
Joan is remembered by all as compassionate, driven, and hard-working woman who cared for everyone she met. Her family remembers her as a patient mother and a great provider who always put her family first. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for October, 2016, more information to come and all invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital , 350 W. Thomas, Phx, AZ, 85013, Hospice of the Valley at Ryan's House, 110 Merrell St, Phx, AZ, 85013, or any other such organization or women shelters, in the name of Joan Ceceila Erdman Kralicek.
