John David Baldwin, 85, passed away in his beloved hometown of Phoenix, Arizona on February 10th, 2026. After graduating from high school, he served in the Army, and was honorably discharged in 1965. He attended Arizona State University and worked as an accountant for the State of Arizona. He was a huge Sun Devil fan and cheered them along for every sporting event he could. John loved gardening and created a backyard full of blooming roses, tulips, and dandelions. He was an active member of the church and volunteered helping voters on election days.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, sons David and Eric, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on February 18, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Funeral Home Chapel, located at 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
The funeral service will follow on the same day in the same location, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
Burial will take place on February 18, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at an Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W Van Buren St, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
