John M. Guerrero Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Phoenix at the age of 86. He led a very full life filled with family and friends. The last surviving son of a former ranching family from Cochise County, Arizona. John was born on the family ranch; his father delivered him after being given instructions from the doctor in the town of Bisbee, AZ. Such was life in rural Arizona. He is survived by his lovely wife Josie of 60 years of marriage, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his two sons John Jr. and Kirk Guerrero. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on October 12th at Saint Louis the King Catholic Church in Glendale, followed by internment at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. A celebration of life will be held at Grimshaw Mortuary immediately following internment.
