Jose Ramiro Arellanes

Jose Ramiro Arellanes passed away April 25, 2016 in Tolleson, Arizona. He was born March 3, 1936 to Dolores and Victoria Noriega Arellanes in Tolleson, Arizona. He met the love of his life Dora Rivas and they married April 23, 1960 and have been married for 56 years. Together they started a wonderful family. Joe proudly served in the US Air Force where he also worked as an aircraft mechanic. He later went into law enforcement where he finished his career working for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy. Jose was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family. His laughter and jokes will always be remembered by all. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and his daughter Christine Arellanes Goire. He is survived by his wife Dora Arellanes, one son Daniel Arellanes, two daughters Cecilia McDonell and Patricia Milam plus the second batch of children he raised Stephanie Brammer, Steven Goire and Sabrina Goire as well as 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Funeraria del Angel Greer Wilson Chapel 5921 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, Arizona 85033.
