Josephine A Gallegos

Josephine Apodaca Gallegos, 85, peacefully passed surrounded by her loving family on Monday December 26, 2016 at 3:12am. Josephine was born on August 14,1931 to Canuto and Dalphina Apodaca, and was raised in Winslow, Arizona. Some of her favorite things to do were play the Accordion, and paint beautiful Tri- Chem portraits. Josephine married David Gallegos, and had two daughters, Victoria and Linda Gallegos. Josephine then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she assisted in raising her grandchildren, Johnny and Sabrina Castro. Josephine spent her retirement years leisurely living with family, and enjoying frequent vacations and family gatherings. Josephine lived full life surrounded by joy and laughter.

Josephine is survived by her daughters Victoria Melendrez, Linda Quezada, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A celebration of Josephine's life will be held on Wednesday January 4th, 2017 at Colonial Chapel 4141 North 19th avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85015 at 11am. Following she will be laid to rest a Rest Haven Cemetery 4310 East Southern Phoenix, Arizona 85042.
