It's been a year my sweet beloved daughter Karen, I still miss you so much,nothing has changed for me regarding loosing you, I love forever, for all eternity, one of these days I will see you, have so much to tell you.  Until then sweet Karen.  I love you.  /hugs and kisses.  Your Mom.

Dear friend Alice and  rest of Family,

I am unable to find the right words to comfort your pain, but I express my deep feeling for the death of his beloved daughter KAREN.

Any word at this moment, is too small for this great loss, only God can relieve this feeling, I hope their hearts sejão relieved by the certainty that she will always protect you.

I pray by KAREN, for that she finds peace and for the good memories stay forever, bringing the comfort needed at this time.

I know Karen from Jill's sweet story of Karen when she was little "
"would lay hands on others and pray for them". Just a precious picture in my mind. And yesterday my daughter Tresa told me that our girls should really  do this. That their church was really big on having the youth pray for one another!! When Tresa told me this I thought of Jill's sweet sister!! RIP.

Dearest Alice, My sweet sister in faith, and a true unique friendship we have shared. I have no words to soothe you at this tragic time, they are as lost in the wind. The loss of your Karen was unspeakable as to its suddeness. A cold and complications and then gone within hours. SO unfair, we question WHY to GOD. There is no answer. But HE and The Blessed Mother will not leave your side as you walk this sad journey. I would say Karen is NOW within sight but its transformed sight. YOU will see her in ways you never dreamt of. I knew little about you Karen except that u r Alice Duncan's daughter. it was sad to know u passed away suddenly with still long years to live here. It is also wonderful to know that u were a successful woman running your own establishment and that u helped a lot the poor and the needy. it appears u took little time to look after yourself than u did to look after those in need. a rare trait. the parents and ur kith and kin should be forever proud of u. I wish you be with God in heaven and in glory.Amen!
