Katherine Kido

Katherine Kido, 89, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away in the evening at 11:55PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was born on March 22, 1926 in Dorena (mailing address), Missouri (Island #7 on the Mississippi River) to Alvis and Onie Mae (Ona May) Wallace. She is survived by her daughter Nina Kido Knapp of San Tan Valley, AZ and daughter Emmy(Emma) Kido of Big Bear, CA and Gregory Kido of Glendale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father Alvis and mother Onie of MO and her son Ken Kido of MO. She is survived by her sisters Lottie Cantwell of Georgia, Betty Cooper of CA, Lavern Wilson of MO, Juanita Mcgouh of CA, Glenda Clifton of Oklahoma and Gladys Allen of CA. She was preceded in death by her brothers James Wallace of CA and Alvin Wallace of Kentucky.

Katherine was very proud of her 4 children and their spouses and their children and their grand children and great grand children:

Ken Kido: Ken's son Bryan of AZ, and Bryan's 2 children and Bryan's 1 step child and Bryan's 1 step grand child of AZ and Ken's son Scott of AZ and Ken's son Kelly of CA and Ken's daughter Karri of CA.

Nina Kido Knapp: Nina's daughter Michelle and Michelle's 3 children of TX and Nina's daughter Renee and Renee's 4 children and 2 step children of TX. And Nina's daughter Amanda and Amanda's 2 children of AZ. And Nina's step daughter Rachel and Rachel's son Cole of AZ. And Nina's step son Chris of NY.

Emmy Kido: Emmy's son John of AZ, and John's 2 children, and Emmy's daughter Heather of CA.

Gregory Kido: Gregory's son Glen and Glen's daughter of AZ.

Now Katherine has 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Totaling 31. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2nd at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd in Phoenix. Following the funeral, interment will be held at West Resthaven Cemetery at 6450 W. Northern Ave in Glendale.
