Kenny attended elementary school at Barcelona, Cordova, and Alhambra Traditional in the Alhambra Elementary School District. During high school, he studied at Carl Hayden as part of the Computer Studies magnet program and attended Alhambra High School during his senior year. Kenny continued his learning by earning his Associate’s Degree from College of America and spent much of his life working in the field of information technology. He moved to Lubbock, Texas for several years in his twenties before returning to Phoenix to be close to family.
Kenny had many passions in his life, all in pursuit of forming connections.
He was a proud patriot who believed in supporting others, specifically veterans. He could often be found collecting money for those in need or distributing necessities at homeless encampments. He was proud of the diversity of his friends and found happiness joining those who had a need with those who could help.
Kenny was a talker. His knowledge base was broad- technology, firearms, ham radios, history, music… - this allowed him to engage anyone willing in a conversation and develop connections that were remembered long after the exchange was over. He was honest and opinionated, but willing to listen to other points of view.
And he loved a good laugh, in fact, he considered himself a Dad Joke Connoisseur. One of his very last conversations involved a doctor asking how he felt to which he promptly responded, “With my hands.”
Kenny will be missed deeply by the family he leaves behind- his father, Ken, mother, Robbie, sister, Kristina, brother, Joe, many aunts and uncles, 3 nephews, and a niece- as well as his vast network of friends.
The family thanks you for your support and kind words during this time. Remembrances can be made through contributions to Salty’s Fallen Biker Fund (501C3# 93-1539307) a non-profit Kenny supported by reaching out to Bobby Jordan on Facebook.
