Kent R Johnson, 87, of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away May 16, 2015. He was born in Pima, AZ, on December 5 ,1927. Kent graduated from Miami High School. He was married to Lorna Deene Lincoln on February 19, 1949. Kent worked a career in National Park Service for the federal government and was a self-employed plumber by trade. He had a passion for his family. Kent is predeceased by his parents Madeline and John (Bill) Johnson, sisters Madeline and Dixie, and son Jerry. He is survived by his wife of 66 years L. Deene Johnson, sons: Michael (Sharon), Steven (Penny), Brian (Esther); daughters: Susan (Glen Root), Lee Ann (Lex Chamberlain); sister Carol Johnson Cunningham, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1150 W Combs Rd, Queen Creek, AZ.
