

Kobe Ali Boyd, age 26, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 3, 2025. Born on July 5, 1998, to Kevin Boyd and Tenay Taylor, Kobe's vibrant spirit and dedication to his family and craft will be deeply missed.
Preceding the passing of his two grandfathers, Ben Adams and Rickey Boyd, as well as his father, Kevin Boyd Kobe was a devoted father to Kobe Boyd Jr. and Kimberly Boyd, who were the light of his life. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Tavion Boyd, Ebony Roebuck, Jonathan Boyd, Kevin Boyd Jr., and Kuba Boyd. Kobe’s memory will also be cherished by his grandmothers, Sharon Bowers and Cynthia Boyd; his four aunts, two uncles, over twenty cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A man of diverse talents and unwavering work ethic, Kobe held various positions throughout his career, including line cook at Alice Cooperstown, dishwashing technician, BGSF maintenance technician, and self-employed repair and maintenance technician. Most recently, he proudly graduated from RSI as a Refrigeration & HVAC Specialist. Kobe approached each endeavor with diligence and a commitment to excellence.
Kobe was known for his generous heart and willingness to help others. His infectious smile and ability to brighten any room were hallmarks of his personality. He was a lifelong learner, determined to overcome challenges and achieve his goals. Persistent on acquiring new skills, when he put his mind to something he did not take no for an answer. The lasting impact he made on those around him will be forever remembered. His smile, laughter, and warm presence will be profoundly missed.
