L. Jewell (Judy) Smith of Glendale, Arizona passed away July 22, 2016. She was born January 29, 1921 in Boone County, Kentucky to the late Rev. Clarence and Edith Baker. Having previously lived in Kentucky and Indiana she moved to Arizona in 1967.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Albert (Bill) Smith and grandson-in-law Charles Wesley Miller III. Jewell is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Marcia Smith Rehm of Glendale, Arizona and Lynda and Charlie Miller of Douglas, Arizona; her five grandchildren, Philip Rehm, Mathew, Jenifer, Jon and Michael Miller; and her ten great grandchildren, Kelly, Anakin, Andrew, Justin, Halilyn, Adam, William, Charles, Antonio, and Corbin.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road Peoria, AZ 85383. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lara Turner Homes 8640 N. 19th Avenue #14, Phoenix, AZ 85021 in memory of Jewell Smith.
