Linda Gayle Shourd

Linda Gayle Shourd passed on April 6, 2026, at the age of 82. Linda resided in El Mirage, Arizona. Linda was a dedicated mother and housewife. In her early years, she was a secretary for the Chambers Belt Company, and in her late 50s to early 60s, she enjoyed working for the Anthem Country Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Toro and her two son-in-law’s Carlos Toro Sr and Bert Johnson Jr.; six grandkids, Carlos Toro Jr, Andrew Toro, Marissa Ailport, Mark Toro, Bert Johnson III, Ryan Johnson; four great grandchildren with three more on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Shourd; her daughter, Shelly Johnson; her father and mother, Lenvil and Leola Simms; and her sisters, Lois Searle and Marlene Roberts.

Visitation will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027, US, on April 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm.  

A Funeral Service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027, US, on April 15, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  

A Committal Service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027, US, on April 15, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
