Louise "Janie" Jacobson

Louise “Janie” Jacobson departed this life on September 30, 2015 to join her beloved husband, Jay, AKA “Babe”. She leaves behind her beloved sons, George, John & Jim, who deeply loved and cherished her. She also leaves behind her little dog child, Schnickers AKA “Schnick”.

She leaves behind many loving family members and dear friends. She was one of 11 children being born to Frederick and Eleanor Glaser on the 30th of June 1942. She will be most remembered for her loving personality – never meeting anyone that didn’t absolutely love her from the first instant. She was an indescribable loving mother and wife – and for her, her family and their love was her life’s biggest accomplishment and heartfelt joy! She was generous to a fault, her laughter was infectious and her smile was warm and inviting. Because of her zest, charisma & love of life, she had many endearing nicknames such as Fritzy, Cinnabun, Mumster, Aunt Nannie, Oh Hun and Honey.

She was adventurous, experiencing new places and sharing life and her stories with all who loved her. She especially loved going to Colorado Springs and getting a drink of fresh tap water! She loved her SALADS, tulips, windmills, rainbows, sunny days and the reaction she would get from people when she would tell them how her and Jay would one day go parasailing together in the nude…..Mom you and dad can finally sail together forever, and your roller skate wheels we know will never stop!!!! Her love of crazy hats, costumes and silly pranks will continue to fill our hearts with humor as those fun memories are revisited. She will never be forgotten! She will be forever loved and missed and until we meet again, we will all look forward to hearing you once again say to us, your signature greeting, “Oh Hi Ya”!
