Marcos "Marquitos" Valdez

Marcos Alfonso Valdez Sanchez had barely turned 18 on October 5th of this year. He was an outgoing and very happy kid who always had a goofy smile. He never backed down from a challenge, if he didn't like something, he would do something to change it. He was always just looking to have a good time with his friends and family. Even before his passing he was a sort of guardian angel for the family. He always made sure everyone was happy and comfortable, he would work hard to be able to send his mom money, he cared and guarded his baby niece Alyna with such powerful love, he was just always the one to check on everyone. Now he will be our guardian angel from above watching us and taking care of us. Before he past, he had so many goals and aspirations... like finally buying his own car, and being able do more things because he was finally 18. He had his whole life ahead of him, but it was cut short due to a drunk driver's wreckless decision making. Marcos and his best friend, Rene Martinez, and him were driving not even 5 miles away from their homes that night, but little did they know it would be their last trip together. Both teenagers are missed terribly by all of their friends and family and we all just wish we could do something to bring them back so they could live long and full lives like they deserve. You will forever be missed and you will never be forgotten, we love you!
