Margaret Josephine Wolf which most of us knew her as “Jo” was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 11, 1932. The Wolf Family moved from Texas, New Mexico, California and then to Phoenix, Arizona where Jo attended North High School. Jo was one of ten children born to Lonzo and Bessie Wolf. Jo was an active member of Temple Baptist Church where she met and fell in love with the love of her life, Bill Harris. Bill and Jo were married on July 3, 1952.
Jo’s love for Bill never diminished and she missed him after his passing in 1978 they spent 26 loving years together. Jo and Bill have been reunited in Heaven 47 years later.
Together they had five children, Mike (Willo), Claudia Earle (Kyle), Tommy (Kelli), Jenni Ordorica (Al) and Wesley.
Jo preceded in death by her husband Bill Harris, her father Lonzo Wolf, her mother Bessie Wolf, her sisters, Estelle Wolf, Dessie Martin (Roscoe), Polly Korb (Edward), Marie Cain (Frank), her brother Walter Wolf and her sister Evelyn Hobbs (Charles) Jo is survived by her sisters Billie Wright (Bill), Audie Wolf, and Jeannette Hobbs (Gale).
Jo loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother and sisters. Whether you called her mom, sister, grandma or Aunt Jo you knew you were loved by her. Jo was usually the life of the party at all the family gatherings with her infectious smile and laughter. She saw and celebrated the good in everyone always having nothing but kind words to say about everyone. Jo enjoyed singing in the church choir, cooking, driving,
birthdays and of course, her See’s Candy. Her voice was purely angelic! You were truly blessed to have her sing Happy Birthday to you!
