Martin Anthony Reymer

Martin A Reymer, 63, of Anthem AZ lost his battle with cancer on Monday, February 23, 2026. Marty was born in Pennsylvania on July 19, 1962. He grew up in Bethlehem, PA with his parents and two brothers. Marty graduated from Freedom High School and received his BA in Computer Sciences from Bloomsburg University where he met his wife of 43 years, Bettyjane (BJ). They were married May 28th in Harrisburg, PA.

Growing up, Marty was active with the Boy Scouts of America and received his Eagle Scout in 1980. During high school, Marty worked as a camp counselor helping younger scouts learn archery and swimming. He loved playing the trombone and was in numerous musical groups. He performed with the Freedom High School marching band, concert band and jazz band. He enjoyed playing with the local American Legion band in parades and functions. In college, he was a member of the Bloomsburg University Marching Band, concert band and jazz band and a member of the Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity.

Marty was a proud member of over 30 years of Perseverance Lodge of Fraternal Order of Masons, Harrisburg PA where he enjoyed playing in the pool leagues and the Carlisle Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he competed with the Ritual Team for many years.

Marty loved working with computers and often helped out friends and small businesses with their computer issues. He loved his job and coworkers and being able to share all his knowledge with them. Marty also loved the outdoors from all his early years in boy scouts. He became a devoted horse show Dad and was at every competition his daughter competed in expertly driving the horse trailer. He wasn't born into the horse world but had to learn quickly while dating his wife. He was BJ's best groom ever and that never stopped. He was a loving husband to BJ and Dad to Megan and always put them first. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Marty moved to Arizona in 2005. He always said his favorite day was selling his snowblower. He was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Anthem, AZ.

Marty is survived by his loving wife, Bettyjane (BJ) Reymer and daughter Megan (Kevin) Reymer-Walker; brothers, Stephen (Christy) Reymer of Los Angeles, CA and Daniel (Jennifer) Reymer of Northampton, PA.
