Our wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mary Louise Mahan, age 94, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Beatitudes Rehab Center. Until falling in her rose garden on Oct. 15th, Mary Lou had been living independently at her home of 54 years in Phoenix. Mary Lou was born at home in Phoenix to parents, Cecil and Lola Mae Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William N. Mahan, and is survived by her son, William A. (Janne) Mahan, her daughter, Joy Louise (Steve) Stewart; her grandchildren, Wm. Richard (Laura) Mahan, Carrie Mahan (Rick) Herrick, Todd (Jenn) Brooking and Shelley Brooking (Jason) Anderson. Mary Lou also had five great-grandchildren. Her family was always number one in her life. Funeral services will be at A.L. Moore Grimshaw, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix, on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
