

Melanie Lynn Robbins died unexpectedly on January 20, 2014 at home after an illness. Melanie was an Arizona native, born in Phoenix on March 5, 1959. She was a loving, generous and spiritual person who will be missed greatly. Melanie had many special talents, was an excellent writer, and loved to keep in touch with friends and family by sending cards for special occasions, or just to let people know she was thinking of them. She loved children and thoroughly enjoyed caring for them. She worked with children and their parents following her years in office management and as a legal assistant. She is survived by her mother, Mary Robbins; her father and step-mother Phil and Carolyn Robbins; her most special friend and sister, Jennifer Robbins; her sisters, Phylis Robbins and Susan Robbins (Tammy Perkins); step-sisters Lauri Jordan (Laura Somerville) and Melanie Davis; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is now at peace in God’s hands. Visitation will be on January 31, 2014 from 6pm – 8pm at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, Az 85013. A memorial service conducted by Pastor Kevin Goshow of Calvary Community Church will also be held at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary on February 1, 2014 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
