Mike was a loving and caring friend. He was so good to my family. He loved our daughter, Jen would text him every day just to show how much he was loved. Mike was such a caring and awesome person. I first worked with Mike at KOOL FM. He got off at 7 and I went on. Then we worked together again at KSWG. This time he would follow me. We always took the time to stay and talk to each other after our shift. He would always ask me how my family is even when he was ill. Mike was one of the most caring and nicest guys in and out of the business. R.I.P. Michael!

Mike was a very good man and he was very good person and loving second dad to me I text him all the time and I love you daddy so much thank you for being my daddy Mike I really miss you a lot I know you are in pain no more and you are looking down on me right now I remember wheh you came to my birthday party I saw you that mean a lot to me knowing that you were in my life i really miss you a lot and your hugs you are my best daddy in the world thank you for being second dad to me and I remember when I came over to your house and I saw you l love you so much 

I don't have 1 memory. The best people don't leave you with just 1 thing, or 1 memory. They are the best people cause you enjoy being around them every day. I can say working with this talented man was a pleasure EVERYDAY and in a business replete with phonies, Mikey was  genuine, warm, friendly, and helpful EVERYDAY...And yes those pipes. Guys who talk for a living appreciate that booming voice. May God bless Mike's soul and may they feel good that Mike made a difference in this world and to sooo many people.

I met Mike when we worked at KSWG together.  Of course you wondered how anybody could have such a perfect voice like he had...but he was so much more.  Mike was a kind, caring, encouraging guy.  I always look forward to his visits at the station.  I am so sad to see you go Mike, but I know now that you have no more pain and are in a much better place!

I am deeply saddened,this morning,to hear of Mikes passing.
I met Mike when I was hired on at KSWG for afternoons, in July of 2013. 
I had just moved from Florida and didn't know a lot of people in the Phoenix area. He was a wonderful human being and So friendly to everyone.  This is so sad, to hear. My prayers and condolences to everyone.

Mike was such a genuinely nice guy. He helped me early on in the broadcasting biz. His golden pipes could be heard on the valley airwaves and television ads too. We were fortunate enough to have Mike do our production for the Dr. Bob Martin Show for several years. In fact his work can still be heard to this day. A classy, and genuinely warm human being, who I am so glad I met and considered a good friend, and learned from. Rest In Peace my friend.🙏🏻

I know you are not in pain any more and we all will see you in God kingdom. You have been such a blessing in so many lives and always made us laugh and remember not to be too serious. You are the best Dad that any of us kids  have had and an amazing Grandpa to our boys. You have helped us all grow and learn with all of the love and heart to heart talks. I miss you more than you will ever know. It is hard on us all, but we do know that we will see you again! I hope we are making you proud taking care of things the way you wanted. I love you so much Dad and feel your love all around us each and every day. I'm sorry that I am unable to attend the memorial.  I worked with Michael at iHeart for a number of years but the memory that I would like to share with you is when I first met him.  I was coming out of a recording session at Audio and Video Recorders on 7th St and Michael was going in.  I said hello and he responded with THAT VOICE!  I said "You should be in radio" and he told me that's what he was trying to do.  So it was a real pleasure when we wound up together at Clear Channel/iHeart.  Over the last few years we corresponded through Facebook a number of times and I tried to pay him a visit on a few occasions but the timing was never right.  I'm glad to hear he is finally at rest.  

So sorry to see this. You were a fighter. Debbie please take care. We will be thinking of you.

I worked with Mike at Clear Channel for many years and he produced many commercials for me. He was an extremely kind and gentle person and it was a pleasure not only to work with him but to realize what a good and genuine soul he was.  

I had the pleasure of working together with Mike for several years doing Radio, and Mike was just a natural! First of all, he was given that smooth voice that most radio guys would give anything for... but Mike was a gentle soul and that made his delivery in whatever he did so unique! I remember the time my wife and I ran into Mike while shopping at Kohl’s and we talked for so long... they almost had to kick us out of the store! I remember telling Mike he should get on the p.a. and announce that the store was staying open late so we’d have more time to chat!! The kindest guy I ever met and... you will be missed my friend! I’m so glad you’re no longer suffering, but wish we could have some more time together. Rest In Peace now Mike... We Love You! ❤️ 

Worked with Mike part time at KOOL radio in Phoenix.  Always unassuming, friendly and a great radio talent.  I was impressed at his strength and how hard he fought to beat his illness and what he must have gone through.  Prayers to the family. 

I met Mike when he was answering the phone taking song requests at KEZ.  We both hit it off and became fast friends when he was still single. We would sometimes not communicate for months on end and then reconnect like we had been friends forever. Mike was strong and gentle at the same time. I know he really believed in the beginning of his diagnosis that he could beat it. He never lost hope even when he wanted to throw  the towel in and give up. He knew his family needed him as long as he could be around. He was the most humble, sensitive, caring, loving and gentle friend. I really loved my friend. Miss you my friend. You put up a good fight. I really admire you for fighting the fight for almost 4 years. I don't think I would have the courage you did to hang on as long as you did. I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact you would leave us so young. I would have gladly traded places with you.  Love ya

Mike was a unique guy...sometimes childlike with his wonder and a kind, gentle soul.  We could all do well to emulate those qualities in our own lives...

I so enjoyed working with Mike  back when we were at Clear Channel and catching up again these years later on Facebook.  He had such a great voice and we loved doing commercials and talking about voiceovers together.  One of the nicest guys I’ve known in radio.  He will be missed.  RIP Mike

Mike was one of the nicest guys in our Phoenix radio family.  I remember his kind, compassionate demeanor, his incredible professional skills and his soft, gentle smile.  He touched everyone who knew him with positivity. You will be dearly missed, Mike.  Rest in peace. 

Mike was a nice guy with a really kind heart. We worked together which seems like  forever ago back when radio was quite different than it is now, back when it was Clear Channel. Radio peeps, an odd breed, but we all have a calling (or maybe yearning) for it. Mike loved his job and it showed. He had THAT voice. 
I'm  sorry we didnt catch up more frequently,  Mike. I know you're in a better place.  RIP my friend. 

Mike was a fantastic co-worker when I worked with him at 550 KFYI radio. He was always so professional and we soon became great friends. While we didn't see each other much after he left in 2007, we kept in touch. He was so courageous in his cancer fight, always keeping a positive attitude. I'll definitely miss him but take comfort he's in a better place.
