Saturday June 10 we lost Rita Sheppard. She was a great women , A Paragon Speedway Historian, and HARF Member. She Loved sharing memories of the Paragon Speedway and will be missed by many. Please keep Billy Sheppard, Family and Friends in your thoughts and prayers. Also please respect Billy as he processes this great loss.
Norita (Rita) Sue Sheppard
April 17, 1947 – June 10, 2023
Norita (Rita) Sue (Cooper) Sheppard was born April 17, 1947 to Lola and Luther Cooper who preceded her in death. She had one sister Nancy Chenoweth, two brothers, Robert, and Huey Cooper, all deceased. Rita married Edward Sheppard and they had one son Billy Sheppard; he survives as well as several nieces and nephews. Rita was proud of her nursing accomplishments with a masters in nursing. She loved her friends and her dogs. Interment was at PHX Memorial Park in Phoenix AZ.
