Norma Doughty

95 of Scottsdale, Arizona, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother went to be with her Lord on October 3, 2015. Her family was her life, and she will be deeply missed. Norma was the daughter of William Raymond Engler, and Ella Mae Ross who preceded her. She will join her husband of 53 years in heaven, John Joseph Doughty. They were originally from Herrin, Illinois and moved to Scottsdale in 1968. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale. Norma worked at DeVry Institute as a Student Loan Adviser for 10 years before retiring. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Serati of Herrin, daughter Marsha (Curtis) House, sons Ken (Maggie), Mike (Jan) and Pat (Jodi), 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Gardiner Home, 1522 W Myrtle, Phoenix, AZ 85021-7939
