Norman L. Durette, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2021 at the age of 93. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He was born in Fall River, MA, son of Joachim and Isabella Durette. After graduating from Durfee HS in Fall River, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a pharmacist mate. After his honorable discharge, he received his degree in pharmacy from Northeastern University. In 1951 he married the love of his life, Mary Eloise Mello, together they shared 42 years of marriage and had three children; Patrice Tlachac (Randy), Nicole Callaghan, Thomas Durette. As well as three grandchildren; Rebecca Lockhart (Kee), Celeste Tlachac, Jeremy Tlachac. In 1967 the family relocated to Phoenix. He had a passion for traveling and visited many exotic locations. He was an avid collector of coins and stamps, and when weather permitted, he loved to golf. He lived a full and robust life; his independent spirit and passion will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
