My Grandma Ollie was a tough lady who came from humble beginnings. Through determination, love, and grit, she created a beautiful home where her family and friends often gathered for special occasions. She poured her heart and soul into cooking and baking for others; it was truly a labor of love for her. She was full of spit and vinegar and wasn’t afraid to stand up for what she believed in.

In her final years, she would share words of encouragement and wisdom with me about raising children. Most of all, she encouraged me to love them fiercely and the rest would fall into place. Each time we would talk on the phone, we’d never say “goodbye” as a way to acknowledge that she would always be with me in spirit even after she left this Earth.

I love you Grandma. I’m so glad you were able to meet your great children. I will forever do an extra toast to you on New Years Eve in honor of our last visit together. It brings me comfort to know that you are resting in peace now with Grandpa Babe.

I met Ollie at Helen Drake senior center. I have great memories of beloved Ollie. I called her Dolly because she was always so cute with her beautiful hair with the purple streak in it and make up. When she moved to Paul den we continued to keep in touch by phone. She always told me that I was very special to her. I will miss Ollie but I know she is in she a better place with her husband. Rest in peace, my beloved Ollie , I will miss our calls.

Ollie and friend Judy at Helen Drake. We remained in contact after the pandemic closed the center and Ollie then moved to Paulden AZ then to Prescott Valley. She was bright light in my life ❣️

An outing for lunch with friends from Helen Drake senior center. That's where we met and became friends. She volunteered at the center..serving our lunches.

My heart is heavy with the loss of my friend Ollie. I want to offer my deepest condolences to her family. She loved all of you so much.

I have great memories of Ollie , I was her daughter in law and her hairstylist, the things she loved most were her sons , and grandchildren , anytime there was a gathering she would always cook there favorite foods, she loved holidays so she could make there rum cakes . We shared many laughs together. She will be missed , let her light shine bright in Heaven 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
