Patricia Anne “Pat” Wilson of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born on October 3, 1942, in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York where she lived until she moved to Phoenix as a young girl in 1953. She graduated from Camelback High School in 1960 and married her high school sweetheart in 1961. Pat started working for the telephone company (Mountain Bell/US West) in 1961 as a clerk secretary and became Arizona’s first female telecommunications engineer in 1987. Pat is survived by her son Michael Wilson of Tempe, grandson Brandon Wilson, granddaughter Lindsay Richardson and four precious great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Walker of Phoenix.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life and graveside service for Pat on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Mortuary Chapel located at 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix. A reception luncheon will immediately follow.
