Greg,
We the Jackson family, Pauline's second family will miss her but God was ready for her to come home.  Everytime I see the word chipotle or one of the resturants, I think of Pauline.  She used to bring us jars of the sauce and fix it up so good with cream cheese and nuts....oh so good.  

The last time I saw your daughters was when Pauline brought them out to U.K. to watch my son Travis at basketball camp.  She really loved you and your family.  YOU ALL made her proud.  

If you are wondering who I am, I'm Ida's sister Mary, remember Tony & Butch's Aunt Mary.

We are here to say goodbye as your earthly journey ends.

Jesus called your name & you said yes; “oh Lord I am ready to be you special guest”.  

With your invitation in hand you started through the Pearly gate, with great joy as you met Jesus face to face.

Yes we shed a tear or two as we let you go to walk the streets of gold.

Pauline, “our sister” enjoy being Jesus' special guest with peace & sweet rest.

We will miss you but we will find comfort in knowing God only calls the best.

Yes, we watched as you prepared for your heavenly journey a long time ago.

Faithfully, working each day to make heaven your goal; longing to see Jesus who died because He loves us so.

So Pauline, our sister our friend, we will let Jesus lead us till we meet again.

Ms. Byrd was a wonderful neighbor to us on Johnson Avenue: gracious and generous, with lots of good stories. It was a pleasure to know her. Our sympathies go to the family.

Greg, Pauline was a lifesaver for me in the years when my mother was terminally ill, my brother needed lots of care, and I needed to work. I had tried to keep in touch with her for many years but it was often difficult to locate her because she loved being in Arizona with you and your family. I lost touch with her thru the years after my brother Gerry passed, but I never forgot her, her wonderful spirit and her love for her family.  She was so proud of your accomplishments, her daughter in law, and her two granddaughters.  Yes, they provided her with much joy.  She was loved by many, including me.  I know you will be comforted by the life you enjoyed with your parents and the love both of them had for you.

Greg, I am so sorry for your loss.  We lost our mother several years ago, (she remembered your mom very well), and the pain does lesson and the memories remain sweet.  We grew up together on Johnson Ave.  You and my younger sister, Cheryl are the same age.  We were those three Coy girls down the street.  My aunt, Anna Young, was very close to your mom.  May God give you comfort as we keep you and your family in our prayers.
