

Raymund Claro Baca, a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 12, 1945, in Arizona, Raymund spent his life proudly representing his native state.
Raymund's educational journey began at Wilson Elementary School, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. He went on to graduate from Phoenix Union High School.
Throughout his life, Raymund was blessed with a loving family that was his rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Eloisa Baca, his siblings, Isidro Jr., Nellie, Geraldine, Anna, and his beloved Mary Lou. Their memories will forever be cherished in his heart. Raymund is survived by his sisters, Josie and Mary, who will deeply miss his love. His children, Christine (Jaime), Alex (Annette), Angeline (Gabriel), Edward, and Christopher, were his greatest accomplishments. His grandchildren, Jennifer, Jaime, Jessica, Jaclyne, Alexis, Rochelle, Adrian, Adriana, Eloisa, Eddie Jr., Emiliano, Esperanza and thirteen great grandchildren, brought immense joy to his life, and he will be deeply missed by each of them.
Raymund was also a loyal friend who leaves behind a wide circle of friends that became family.
As a coach for his children's sports teams and a volunteer Leader with Boy Scout of America, Raymund inspired young children’s minds, teaching them valuable life lessons and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and community.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Raymund was a visionary who dreamed his passions would turn into successful ventures. He worked as a skilled plasterer, taking pride in his craft and delivering exceptional results. His dedication to his work and his commitment to excellence earned him the respect of peers and clients alike.
As we mourn his loss, we take comfort in the memories of his love, humor, laughter, and legacy. We are so grateful that Dad found the Lord and dedicated himself to walking in faith, growing spiritually. Raymund's family invites friends and acquaintances to join them in celebrating his life, paying tribute to a man who left an unforgettable mark on the lives of those who knew him.
Services will be held on April 17, 2025 at 12pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery's Serenity Chapel on 2300 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, Arizona.
