

Raymundo Ruben Rivas Jr. passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on April 28, 1956, in El Paso, Texas. Raymundo will be lovingly remembered as a selfless man whose steady presence and generous spirit touched many lives.
He grew up in El Paso, Texas, carrying those roots with him throughout his life. He later raised his family in Chaparral, New Mexico, and in 2021 moved to Laveen, Arizona.
Raymundo served in the Army National Guard and went on to work as a truck driver. He was also a business owner of a metal working company where he expressed his passion for western inspired artwork.
A man of many interests, Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboys fan. He was an active member of the Tolleson Senior Center, where he met new friends and remained connected to his community. Known as an outgoing man who was always helping others, Ray leaves a legacy of kindness, service, and friendship.
Raymundo is survived by his spouse, Sara Rivas; his children, Gracie Lens, Andy Rivas, Tommy Orton, Mundo Rivas, Rudy Rivas, and Erik Rivas; and several grandchildren, one great grandson, and numerous other family and friends who are left to cherish his memory.
A Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 West Thomas Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85033, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. and his Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm.
