Rhoda Mae Cano

Rhoda Mae Cano, 68 of Gilbert, passed away on September 12, 2013. She was born February 26, 1945 in Morenci, Arizona to Dorothy Licano Dominguez and Benjamin Orozco. She was a happy and active child who loved school, sports and playing the Trumpet. Rhoda moved to Phoenix when she was 10 years old. She was the first to bring the Bible home to her family and share her faith and desire in God. Rhoda loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports, the Diamondbacks and family functions. Bringing the family together with food and fun was something that Rhoda cherished.

Rhoda passed away peacefully before her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ben and sister Carol. She leaves behind her sister Yolie Jimenez and brother David Orozco. She also leaves behind her 4 children, Jeff Cano (Shea), Jocelyn Cano, Jay Cano (Stacy) and Janelle Cano. She had 11 grandchildren, Steven Gonzales, Maricela Gonzales , Joey Dean, Sienna Cano, Willie Cano, Lexi Martinez , Chris Martinez, Joshua Cano, Elli Cano, Jacob Cano and Danny Cano. She also had 1 great grandchild Gigi, in addition to many other family members and loved ones.

Rhoda will be greatly missed but we have peace knowing she is in heaven with her loved ones.

Memorial Services for Rhoda will be Friday September 20th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ. 85282
