As your "Auntie Carol", I will always have the fond memories of times we shared on the farm growing up.  I recall how, in the middle of the night, we would chase the escapee cows, running through the wet grass in our pj's to herd them back to the barn; Goading you into jumping in the haymow which was an intimidating height;  And how I convinced you to climb on to the chicken coop door where you happened to acquire some hen lice (you never forgave me for that....and I can't blame you).  All great memories that make me smile when I think of you.  I will miss you.


My brother was my hero and best friend..remembering all the times he'd take me down to Stripples for cherry cokes and sitting in a booth as he hung out with his friends or the times he would take me to the drive in with him AND his dates....I guess I was his alibi..my fondest memory would us hanging out the night before I left for boot camp we spent the night drinking and shooting pool til dawn 

I will miss Rick as he was a super great addition to our family. I never got to be around him as there was a big difference in our age. I do & will always remember him &  Carol were very close as they were the same age. I will keep him in our prayers, always.  Aunt Louise

Rick was the oldest of six children in our family. We love our brother very much. I remember fighting over the tv on Saturdays. We wanted to watch cartoons UNTIL American Bandstand came on. Boy was there arguing but Rick won out because he was the oldest.  He taught me how to tie my shoes. It was especially difficult because I'm left handed and he was right handed. 
My boy scout  brother splintered my arm when I broke it in a neighbors yard playing.
I remember watching the nightly news every night with Mom and my other brothers to see if we could catch a glimpse of him during reports and footage from the war in Viet Nam. He was a Navy Corpsman assigned to the  Marine Corps.  I miss our very long conversations.....
