Robert Morris Lachance

He was born on August 6, 1939, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, to Arthur and Lillian Lachance. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley, in September of 1960. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1961. He was honorably discharged after an unfortunate injury ended his military career. He earned a Masters Degree from Worcester State College in 1975.

The family moved to Glendale, Arizona, in 1976 where they raised two daughters and a son.

We pay this tribute to him, "He was the best example of a father anyone could ever ask for. His marriage to Mum was like no other. The love and adoration they shared was an inspiration to us all. He fought to the end to be here for his family, still striving to be the best dad he knew how to be. We miss him so much and always will."

He is predeceased by the love of his life, Shirley. He is survived by his daughter, Karen, daughter Dee and son-in-law Mike, son Bobby and daughter-in-law Lorene, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one on the way.

Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Robert are invited to the PHOENIX MEMORIAL PARK AND CEMETERY, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Visitation is at 11:00, services start at 12:00 and the graveside service will be at 1:00.
