Hey Unk. Had a little trouble sleeping. I just want you to know I'm always thinking about you & as I go through life I'm always reminded of all the things you thought me & all the things we talked about that I hold near my heart. 😢Missing you; as we all are.

The day before your 6 month anniversary was tough, it was also my birthday. 

It's been 6 months and 4 days since you left us. I struggle sometimes and other times aren't so bad. 

I've had Nanas and tatas pass away and I've had Uncles pass away, but your intimate lifetime partner? This is a first and one that I cannot stop crying about. Since you left I've experienced  feelings that I've never felt before, but then again, I've never had the love of my life die and leave me forever without saying goodbye.

It's harder than ever. Working, kids, bills; and all alone? 

I've held your hands a thousand times and even missing a finger I held your hand and your detached finger too, holding on to it for hours with caution and care to make sure it could be saved. Just like in the picture attached I wish I could hold your hands one more time.

I wish you could just tell me somehow it will all be okay. That's all for now,

Missing you brother !  It's not the same out here without you I try hard to be strong every day and yes there's day I have my good days but then I have my bad days thinking why why did god have to take you why were we punished this way that he took all the ones we love and who were special and the closest loved ones from us I know we have to all go someday but why mom,dad and then you my only brother. I know there's a reason for everything but I just don't understand it it's hard for me I guess to except it but believe me your always I'm my mind and remembered in my heart and believe me it aches. Brother I miss you so much. I ask God to give me the strength to get over this earthquake. And ask why he had to take another person so special to me you were the rock of this family and were loved by us all.. theres days I ask mom why why she had to come  for you I  know I will never get the answer and I know  it wasn't her decision for it only God knows why and what plans  he had for you he just sent an angel for you to hold  your hand and guide you  up the  stairways of heaven..  I know you weren't scared you left peacefully but I feel it wasn't time us sibling  were suppose to get old together and watch are grandkids grow up. Everyday I wake up thinking my cell phone is going to ring especially on  Saturday miss those early morning calls and I will hear your voice then I realize it's never going to happen I will never hear your voice again I  will have only memories of it.. there's days I sit and cry I know you wouldn't want it it like that but it's very hard not to. I miss you so much but I know down deep inside you ,mom and dad are in a piece of my heart and you will be watching over us and protecting us from  heaven. Love you guys so much and the day God has plans for me  I will hope  he sends you three angels to come get me by my hand and guide me up to the stairways of heaven but till then I will always love and  miss you all and cherish every memory till we meet again.. Robert was a wonderful person. He always knew how to make you feel welcomed and like you had known each other forever. He could always make light of any situation and had one of the kindest hearts I had ever seen. He was taken too young and too soon. No amount of time could have prepared any of us for this. He will forever be loved and cherished by all who was fortunate enough to meet him. We love you. We miss you.

I'm Craig Furst, nephew of Hal & Gina Veatch. Robert and I only saw each other once in a great while during family parties and bbq's. Plus, after college I joined the Navy for 22 years so I wasn't always around. It was only recently we reconnected and talking smack to each other by texts having fun. He was going to come see my new house in Prescott and was excited to come up. I married my wife, Esmeralda from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, and was excited for Robert to meet her at Hal Veatch Jr's recent birthday party. He didn't show up (his girl was sick I think...), but we were talking smack that he was too scared too show by this white boys dance skills and he couldn't hang on the dance floor...joke! So we didn't get to meet or say goodbye, but falling tears hurt that I won't get to see him until we meet again with God. I sure do hope they have cardboard for Breakin' in Heaven. To my Cuz who kept the family together like glue, I love you very much Cuz. Always, Craig, Esmeralda, Cris and Tanner. Word up! Peace RJM...
