Robert Russell Williams

It's with GREAT SADNESS that our family announces the passing of Robert Russell Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, & great-grandfather. "Bob" as he liked to be called, is survived by his wife of thirty seven and a half years Charlotte, daughters Karen Tilia, Lisa Johnson, and Tiffany Duart, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition, Bob has a sister Evelyn Huston.

Bob proudly served his country in the Air Force for twenty-one and a half years, retiring in 1977 from Davis Montham Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ. After his military retirement, he continues his private sector working for Lockheed, Reynolds Aluminum and Hughes Helicopter.

An avid golf enthusiast, Bob and Charlotte enjoyed many days on the golf course playing with friends. In addition he enjoyed fishing, hunting, antiquing, tending to his beautiful yard and plants and spending time with family and friends. Bob has been described by many of his friends as "the most friendly, warm, and caring person we have ever met, his passing has truly left a void in all our lives."

Bob was born on September 23, 1937 in Painsville, OH the only son of Roy and Mary Williams. He was raised in Conneaut, OH until he left to join the Air Force. Bob passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018, he was 80 years old.
