

Rosita Pearl Trejo Miller (Negra), 67, of North Canton and Fairlawn, OH, and Phoenix, AZ passed away on December 11, 2012 at the Summa Akron City Hospital. "Rosie" ("Rose" or "Negra") was the 2nd child of Gomiscindo Trejo and Jaunita Valensguela. She was born July 31, 1945 in Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Grover C. Miller; six daughters, Terri Trevino Lovato, Michelle Trevino, Sonya Trevino Al Sadoon, of Phoenix, AZ; Lisa Jamtgaard Schwertfeger of North Canton, OH, April Miller of Alexandria, VA, and three sons, Joaquin Jamtgaard of Phoenix, AZ, Cleve Miller of Demopolis, AL. Rosita is also survived by four sisters, Juanita (Georgia) Alvarez and Evangelina (Eva) Cons (Abriel), Armida Dominguez (Angel) and Stella Bejarano (Armando). Rose is also survived by her mother-in-law, Rachel Miller of Demopolis, AL. She had 13 grandchildren, Adella Lovato, Irene Lovato Mortinez, Sergia Lovato, Virginia Lovato, Christy Rose Lovato, and Virgel Lovato, Savannah Loera, Victoria McAnaly, Nicholas Gonzales, Heather AlSadoon, Issa (Jesse) AlSadoon, Christopher Schillinger, Brooke Swan, and Joshua Jamtgaard. 17 great-grandchildren rounds out the descendants of Rosita Miller. Rose also leaves a brother-in-law, Ted Miller of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends who live in OH and AZ. While residing in Akron, OH in the 1980's, Rose became active with AA and the Dry Peoples Club. She was an active duty military spouse during the 1st Gulf War. Then, she became a retired military spouse in 1996. She and Grover were members of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 56 High St, Akron, OH. Although Rose worked briefly as a school bus driver for Metro of Akron, OH, she found her "love" while working as a state tested nursing assistant (in OH as well as in AZ). She worked at residences and at nursing homes. She loved flowers, people, and supported the hopes of her family. We will miss her happy outlook, unwavering love, and friendship. Memorial services will he held on Friday, December 28, 2012, at 10:30 AM, at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ (602) 249-2111. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery in AZ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association , the Arthritis Foundation , or Susan B. Komen.
