Two of the best memories of my Uncle Roy that comes to mind is when he was working with his brothers (Enrique,Roberto, Arturo, and Raymundo). This was when my Uncle Arturo had he’s own lawn service. I couldn’t wait for lunch , because that was when the laugh fest would start. The stories that they all shared about their past and the friends they grew up with was hilariously unbelievable. Loved it big time. The second memory were the conversations that I would have with my Uncle Roy. Years ago I had a job that allowed me to visit my Uncle before I had to go to work. Our talks to say the lead were very interesting. Any and all issues were discussed. He even mentioned how our family had ridden in stagecoaches to get to the U.S. from Mexico. Arizona wasn’t a state yet. My favorite topic to discuss with my Uncle was about our religion as Catholics. I relish those memories and much more. Rest In Peace Tio. You will be missed.

Tio Roy❤ One of the nicest people you could ever meet. He never failed to make me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. He always greeted me with a warm smile & a "Hi Mija!!" I will miss that so much. He was also a great conversationalist. I loved just hearing him talk. He was very smart & articulate. He could talk about anything & I would instantly be intrigued. There was a time when I was going through a tough time in my life & I remember sitting there with tears filling my eyes with Roy & Rosie. I'll never forget his words that made me feel so loved & I knew I was gonna be ok. People like that are so hard to find & Im so blessed to have found that in Roy. His kindness & wise words will always be with me. I'll miss you Tio Roy & until we meet again😘😘❤
