

Stan Cole, 73, died on April 21, 2020 at his home in Phoenix, Arizona after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. Stan was a member of the United States Army and a celebration of life will be held when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Stan was born in Niagara Falls, New York in 1946 and he was raised by his mother, Bobbi Ruth Adams along with his sisters, Penny Loverdi and Sandra Cole. Stan joined the United States Army following his completion of high school. Stan served his country as a truck driver during Vietnam where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Champaign Medal. Stan was married briefly to Elaine. Stan was married to Barbara Cole and they have one child in common, Leya Presnall. Stan was then married to Paulette Cole in 1994 and she died in 1999. Stan met his current wife, Lavada Cole in 2000. Stan and Lavada enjoyed 18 years together as husband and wife while serving the Lord. Stan was an active leader of the men’s group while attending Desert Hills Neighborhood Church. Stan and Lavada attended Mountain of Life Church for the last three years and Pastor Leonard Grammar stated Stan was one of the Godliest men he had ever met. Stan has been a shining example of the love of Christ and he has embodied the forgiveness, humility, and kindness of Christ. Stan’s book of life has been completed on this earth and he has heard the words, Welcome good and faithful servant.
Stan is survived by his wife, Lavada Cole, his daughters Leya Presnall and Michele Roberts, his son Mike Barner, his son’s in law Blake Presnall and John Roberts. Stan enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Braylen, Brandon, Havoc, Ericka, Aidan, Lucas, David, and Shyla.
