He was born on December 18, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of the late Mary and A. Russell Brooks. Tom graduated from Brandywine High School and the University of Delaware. He started his career in the banking industry in Wilmington, Delaware and moved to Phoenix where he continued in the field. Tom enjoyed golfing with his bank customers. He retired in 2016 as a Vice-President at Chase Bank.
Tom is survived by his brothers, Jack (Barbara), Paul (Barbara), and James (Anne). He was predeceased by his brother Robert. He is also survived by four nephews and two nieces. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.
There will be a private memorial service at the convenience of the family.
