

Thomas, better known as Tom, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Tom passed away at age 79 years old, just 12 days before his 80th birthday, at the Sherman Home, Hospice of the Valley, in the city of Phoenix, where He lived with his wife and daughter.
Tom was a man of many talents. He sang doo woop with friends on the corners in Philly. He was a featherweight boxing champ when a teenager. He joined the Air Force and served as a Vietnam Veteran. He loved to play solitaire, read, and cook. Spent time with friends fishing and eating crabs. He loved to cut a rug at the “Side Door”, “The Elks”, or any place that played good music. Tom was a member of the Elks Lodge #335, The American Legion #117, and the 40 and 8th.
Tom crossed the veil that day to be with his Mother Margaret Louise Sullivan(Lewis), Father James John Sullivan, Brother James and Sister in Law Sandy Sullivan, Sister Peggy and Brother in law Mickey Martin. Niece Linda Martin and Nephew Larry Martin.
Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane Sullivan(Walcker), Daughter Virginia Sullivan, Both of Phoenix, AZ, Son Thomas Sullivan Jr. and his wife Tracy, of Smyrna, DE. Grandson Jon-Michel and wife Katherine Sullivan of Vegas, NV. Granddaughter Taylor Sullivan of Smyrna, DE.
Funeral will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on July 29th at 11 am sharp, located at 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
A Celebration of Life will be at the Elks Lodge #335, around 1 pm located at 14424 N 32Nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032
