Timothy Lowell Young

Timothy Lowell Young 74, long time resident of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Friday June 23, 2017 at Banner Estrella Medical Center following his battle with cancer. Timothy was born in Lafayette, Indiana at St. Elizabeth Hospital on July 2, 1942 to Richard Ward Young and Mary Jane Ashley.

In his early years Tim Young served in the United States Navy for the term of ten years. After serving our country Tim joined the Phoenix Police Department with a successful career of twenty six years. He took pride in his career, expertise and reputation in several different divisions as a dedicated, loyal and decorated detective.

Tim enjoyed going to the shooting range with his son, having lunches with his beautiful granddaughter, going to the casinos with his friends and adored his animals.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory his son, Timothy Roy Young of Phoenix, Arizona; his daughter Kimberly Elaine Young of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Rick Young of Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandon James Young and Kimberly Elaine Young of Phoenix, Arizona; Timothy Michael William Mitchell and Jessejames Aiden Ricks of Corpus Christi, Texas. He also leaves to cherish his memory long time companion Betty Walker, and many close friends.
