

Born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1934, Viola aka Vi, was the youngest of 11 siblings. She lived a full and joyful life rooted in love, family, and a spirit of adventure. She was married to her devoted husband, Jerry for nearly 69 beautiful years. Jerry passed in 2024 just nine days shy of their 69th anniversary.
She was the cherished mother of two daughters, Connie Dille Ogden and Carrie Dille Grant and the proud grandmother to five amazing grandchildren; Lauren, Andrew, and Nathan Ogden, Carly and Kyle Grant, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Vi has a gift for making a house a home. She loved to spoil her grandkids with delicious homemade cookies and treats, her specialty was peanut brittle and fudge! She was an excellent seamstress and made everything from formal gowns and costumes to intricate pillows and home furnishings. Vi was an avid reader and compiled a list of every book that she read. She thrived in the company of family, and her happiest moments were spent gathered with loved ones, sharing stories, meals, and memories. Whether it was road trip or a far-off journey, she had a love for travel and discovering new places.
Her presence was a light in the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and warmth that will be remembered always.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
