Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 14, 1932, Walter was a graduate of LaSalle College and a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After his military service, he built a successful career as a certified public accountant, known for his precision, work ethic, and professionalism. In 1971, he relocated with his family to Phoenix, where he continued his career and built a life rooted in service, love, and community.
Walter had a lifelong passion for softball, both as a player and a coach. He shared that love of the game with many over the years and found great joy in mentoring others through sports.
