WARREN MELVIN LOUCKS 91, of Peoria Arizona passed away on December 23, 2013. He was born July 1, 1922 in North East Erie, PA to Walter Russell Loucks and Hildegard Belle Loucks (Kinyon). He graduated from North East High School in 1939. Melvin married Betty Jean Anderson on November 7th, 1940, in Cheraw, NC. He served in the Military, was WW II veteran and enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces in 1943. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenan. He flew as bombardier and instructor aboard B-29 aircraft.He was honorably discharged in 1945. Melvin and family moved to Arizona from Pennsylvania in 1965. Melvin was a man of many talents. He owned a handicrafts store and entrepreneur, until retirement in 1971. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Russell Loucks and Hildegard Belle Loucks (Kinyon). Melvin is survived by his wife Betty Jean (Anderson) Louck, Sons; Douglas W. Loucks, Gordon C. (Judith) Loucks and William A. Loucks, Siblings; Ellsworth Stanley,Virginia, Richard, Ardice Ardell, Walter Russell, Jr., Louise, Priscilla Jean and Carole Mae. Melvin will be deeply missed.
