

On January 23, 2015 the gates of heaven opened up for him to be reunited with his parents, wife, brother and son.
Wayne was a deeply religious man. He was raised with the Christian Science faith.
The love he felt toward Jesus Christ inspired him to enjoy reading the bible daily.
He passed the words of God along to others in thought, word, and deed.
Joined the Army Air Corps in March 1943, stationed in England 1943-1944. Honorable discharge in January 1946.
He worked hard to support his wife and three kids in Milwaukee WI. In 1964 he moved his family to Phoenix where he lived until July 2014.
At that time his daughter Donna Marie moved him to The Heritage Oaks Retirement Center near her in Corsicana Texas.
He had retired from Good Year in the 1970's after many years of being a tool & die maker.

Also enjoyed camping, fishing, skeet shooting, traveling.
If he and his wife Marj were not at the Phoenix Suns basketball game they were enjoying ballroom dancing.
After his wife passed away he looked for ways to fill his long and lonely days.
Visiting with others at the Christown Mall food court (more of a listener than talker).
Spending time at the Sam's Club located on W. Bell Rd. “people watching” and smiling a lot. Delicious breakfasts and pies at Village Inn also on W. Bell Rd. after attending service at one of the local churches.
