
They shared 61 years of marriage together.
Born in California, but raised in Miami, Arizona, he was the son of George W. and Bessie Louise Alexander. He attended Miami High School and after high school, Bill enlisted in the Navy, then reenlisted in the Air Force, where he served for the next 21 years. His duties took him to all corners of the world.
After the Air Force, he spent the next 27 years as an electrical/mechanical technician in the employ of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Bill joined the Church in 1964. He was a faithful and loyal servant in his many callings from teacher to leadership in Young Men’s, as a counselor to branch presidents and bishops, on stake high councils, and for many years as a temple worker. Most of all he enjoyed scouting and working with the young men.
Bill enjoyed archaeology, genealogy, hiking, fishing, quail hunting, and all things outdoors.
Bill will be remembered for the many lives he has touched and influenced through his service over the years.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Karen, his four children William Jr.(former wife Sandie), Kristin Jennings, Jason (Kristalyn), Justin (Renae), 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and his younger brother Virgil (Lois) Alexander.
He is enjoying a heavenly reunion with his parents, George and Louise Alexander, sister Ginger Edwards, brother Hal Alexander, and son-in-law Ron Jennings.
The funeral service will be Saturday, January 27th
