William Davis escaped this human realm on December 21st, 2022 at the young age of 86. We believe he did it on purpose to avoid having to purchase 33 Christmas gifts for his gaggle of grandchildren – 33 to be exact!
He leaves behind five children, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He fostered a hardworking family – often ignoring child labor laws.
Bill was world renowned for his lack of patience, not holding back his opinion and a knack for telling it like it is – most likely learned from the school of hard knocks he attended. Quite possibly why he ended up enjoying the company of dogs better than humans (his words).
He was genuine to a fault, a real softy (especially to his grandchildren) – but just don’t tell anyone. His extensive and prideful cooking skills were always a treat for the family with the exception of the notorious messes he left in the kitchen. Just remember to always mind your manners at the table!
His love of fishing in Mexico was his nirvana and was always at peace there – usually with his sons and/or grandsons. Just look for the bucket hat and a beer out there…..
He was funny up until his last day, continually making us laugh – oftentimes not appropriately!
This is an obituary for a great Man, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather born on April 4th ,1936. He leaves a behind a very dysfunctional family he was very proud of!
A private family Celebration of Life will be held in lieu of a service. These were his wishes as he told me it was time to dig a hole in the backyard.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AdvantageMaryvale.com for the Davis family.
